PHILOSOPHY
"My design philosophy is influenced by two overarching, equally important factors: the site and the client brief.

The site influences the design through consideration of orientation, topography, aspect, vegetation and location. The integration of each of these factors within the design process is critical in achieving a successful resolution.
I gain a clear understanding of the project brief through open and regular communication with the client during the design process. A collaborative, respectful approach is strengthened by my belief in the importance of the client's perspective throughout the duration of the project.

A successfully completed project will incorporate these factors, in combination with my belief in contemporary architecture. I believe that contemporary architecture can also be incorporated within projects that embrace the 'new' whilst respecting the 'old'."
